A
coordinated series of bomb blasts and shooting sprees mostly targeting police
stations Friday sent panicked residents of Kano, Nigeria's second most
populated city running for cover.
Without mincing words, I am using this opportunity to console the souls of innocent citizens that lost their lives, commiserates with the families of those who lost their loved ones and wish those injured speedy recovery from the “absurd” (according to the White House)and “senseless” bomb blasts by the islamist group called Boko Haram.
Every journey starts with
the first small step. There is no doubt that this year general elections will
definitely change the course of history of Nigeria for a new nation. Nigerians
have learnt their lessons in a very hard way. Nigerians have come to realize
that they are the solution to their problems. Suffering is how we react to
events that happen to us.
Hey Ladies, In the last publication we
talked about being independent as a lady and highlighted so many points, but we
want to continue exploring the independent state of mind placing emphasis on
when the quest for independence could turn into arrogance in homes or amidst
friends.
