The Executive Director, Business,
SportsDay Newspaper, Mr. Emeka Enechi, on Sunday died at a private hospital in
Asaba. He was 40 years old. Enechi, popularly called ‘Biafra’ died of tetanus
infection according to family sources. The ace sports journalist sustained a
cut from an auto crash two weeks ago but he was apparently not well treated at a
hospital in Nsukka.
Jos, the Plateau state capital, boiled yet again recently leaving in the wake of it hundreds of lives lost and properties worth billions of Naira destroyed. A good number of those who survived crisis have been economically displaced and may have to start life all over again.
